Plagiarism Guidelines for the Journal of Education and Finance Review

  1. Definition of Plagiarism: Plagiarism is the act of using someone else's words, ideas, or work without proper acknowledgment or citation.
  2. Originality: All submissions must be original work. Authors should not submit material that has been published elsewhere or is under consideration by another journal.
  3. Proper Citations: Properly cite all sources used in your work. Use quotation marks for direct quotes and provide a full reference list at the end of your submission.
  4. Self-Plagiarism: Avoid recycling your own work without proper citation. If you are including excerpts from your previous work, ensure they are correctly cited.
  5. Plagiarism Detection: All submissions will be screened for plagiarism using appropriate software. Similarity reports may lead to rejection or revision requests.
  6. Consequences: Authors found guilty of plagiarism will face consequences, including
    1. Rejection: The manuscript will be rejected, and the author will be notified of the reasons for rejection.
    2. Retraction: If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the article may be retracted from JEFR. A notice of retraction will be published, clearly stating the reasons for retraction.
    3. Blacklisting: Authors found guilty of plagiarism may be barred from submitting future manuscripts to JEFR. This decision will be made at the discretion of the editorial team.
    4. Appeals and Ethical Concerns: Authors who believe their work has been wrongfully accused of plagiarism may appeal the decision by providing a detailed explanation and evidence to support their claim. The editorial team will review the appeal and make a fair and unbiased decision.
  7. Acknowledgment: Properly acknowledge the work of others that has influenced your research. Give credit where credit is due.

For any questions or clarifications regarding plagiarism guidelines, authors can contact the editorial board of the Journal of Education and Finance Review.

Adhering to these guidelines is crucial for upholding academic integrity and ensuring the quality and credibility of research published in our journal.
